Teal barns were an existing pair of agricultural barns. Planning and building regs were gained to convert the barns into a 4 bed 2 storey dwelling. Planning stipulated that the client had to keep the existing perimeter brick walls of the barns up which made for a complex piled RC floor slab and underpinning. The roof was removed and a lot of steel beams introduced to create an amazing space on both ground floors and 1st floors. All of the existing brick walls cladded in timber to create a stunning new home.
